DIAGRIND SPECIALLY ENGINEERED WHEELS
The internal grinding industry is anything but standardized, and for that reason, Diagrind could not be successful with an exclusively standardized line of wheels. Sizes range from .016" in CBN and .020" in diamond mounted on carbide shanks up to 3" 1A1 style wheels. Both special and standard wheels can be supplied in a variety of bonds, as discussed in our Bond Selection Guide. Diagrind has the capability to make wheels in many forms as well. Standard W8, 1A8, 1A1, and cone wheels are just the beginning... convex, concave, and ball-nose radius wheels can also be manufactured, as well as 11V9 style cup wheels. DIAGRIND PLATED WHEELS ON CARBIDE SHANKS
In order to keep our won manufacturing capabilities in tune with the latest in market technology, Diagrind developed a technique to combine the agressiveness of plated Superabrasives with the rigidity of carbide. These wheels have proven to be extremely in the grinding of long holes. Diagrind has a stock listing of standard plated wheels on carbide shanks in both diamond and CBN, however, should a job call for special requirements (such as a unique size or shape), a tool can be manufactured to your specific requirements.
