IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION
Depending on the bond type, Diagrind internal wheels may be run at 1,000 to 6,500 s.f.p.m. with excellent results.
Diamond/CBN wheels up to 1/2" diameter will cut dry. On larger diamond wheels, where coolant is needed, a
synthetic coolant at 20-1 ratio is recommended. For CBN, use grinding oil or water soluble oil mixed
at a ratio of 8-1.
Grinding with a Superabrasive wheel requires some experience by the operator. The proper feed is determined
by sound, as no detectable spark is produced.
Heavier wheel pressure than normal may be used when grinding with Superabrasives.
Back off wheel from contact with work before retracting.
OUTSTANDING FEATURES
Our standard wheels utilize specially developed bonds that provide unusual toughness... perfect for you
difficult grinding applications.
Diagrind bonded wheels are made with full depth abrasive sections, resulting in the ability to effectively
use the abrasive down to the mandrel itself. On smaller wheels, the pilot diameter is smaller than the chucking
diameter, so the mandrel may be ground down behind the wheel and used for other applications.
Won't load up if properly used.
Diagrind wheels are made with carbide shanks for superior rigidity, faster cutting, and safer operation... as
well as longer and truer grinds.
Fused directly to carbide mandrel.
